Strengite crystals on martite from Leveäniemi Iron Mine, County of Norrbotten, Lappland, Sweden.
Associated minerals in most cases are Beraunite, Rockbridgeite or Laubmannite.
Chemical formula: FePO4 · 2H2O
Strengite with pale colour could be Al-Strengite: (Fe, Al)PO4·2H2O.
But we can not afford to XRD all specimens in this low price catogry.
Errata.
The Beraunite from this mine is now defined as Fe3+ dominant as originally and today described as Ferroberaunite.
We will use the old defintion "Beraunite".
